I am a freelance writer and trained journalist, whose work has appeared in a number of publications, including The Independent newspaper and the Channel 4 website. My training was with the National Council for the Training of Journalists in journalism, writing, law (copyright / libel), court reporting, copyright and teeline shorthand.

My past work is varied from national newspaper quizzes, interviews for regional papers and features for magazines and various web articles on a range of subjects. I am the author of a series of four books, aimed at the teenage market. My experience also extends to copy for exhibitions and events, plus advertorial pieces, brochures and press releases.

Alongside writing, I have also worked in various areas of media and multi-media over the past decade, including co-ordinating live events, launches and exhibitions related to television, film and the media.
